Experience
I tutored in writing at Carroll University for 2 years in one-on-one tutoring environment. I helped students improve papers on every subject, from English to the sciences to business. Before college I scored 32 on the ACT and 2140 on the SAT, including a perfect score in Reading. I like being a tutor because I enjoy watching students improve; knowing that their skills developed with my help is very rewarding. At my University, I took a full load of advanced English and writing courses, including an independent capstone and honors project. I have a solid grounding in almost all areas of English literature and theory. I've presented papers at national conferences, and was award "Best Paper in the Arts" my final year at Carroll University. I've published my work in academic, nonfiction, and fiction publications.
